PRIDE
PRIDE students are incoming 5th graders, that are chosen at the end of their 4th grade year.
The primary purpose of the Fayetteville PRIDE program is to develop confident and positive student leaders. Students learn about teamwork, goal setting, decision making, and time management. Additionally, students in the PRIDE program have a very important responsibility as they represent their peers and are responsible for organizing and coordinating may activities, they have a huge impact on our school.
A successful PRIDE member is someone who is:
· responsible, organized, and willing to go the extra mile
· a problem solver who perseveres
· willing to attend and participate in school related activities outside of the school day
· successful in the classroom
· kind and demonstrates integrity
The success of PRIDE is due to the strength of the students who are selected for the program. As a PRIDE member you must conduct yourself as a leader and be a positive role model at school and in the community.
